IG Ukpaka – A seasoned and accomplished banker with over 28 years’ combined experience in the oil and banking sectors. IG Ukpaka is the Executive Chairman of Taurus Holdings – a company with vast interest in Real Estate (Taurus Shelters), Oil and Gas (Taurus Oil), Investment and Advisory (Taurus Capital) and Luxury brands (T-RJ4). Over the years, IG has demonstrated strong capacity to develop business, energize subordinates and carry stakeholders along towards the achievement of organizational goals.

After a brief stint with Agip Energy in Milan, IG commenced work with Nigeria Agip Oil Company upon his return to Nigeria in December 1988. His career trajectory in the banking industry commenced with All States Trust Bank Limited where he was appointed Senior Banking Officer. He later joined Diamond Bank in 1992 as Assistant Manager/Branch Manager and subsequently rose to Manager Level in 1995, a reward for setting up the two most profitable branches of the bank then.

In recognition of his outstanding performance and professional excellence, IG was hired by Zenith Bank and rose to General Manager level in 2001. During his eight years in Zenith Bank, IG won awards for excellent performance in business development and effective leadership. Based on his performance and recommendation, IG was appointed into Executive Management level in Standard Trust Bank as Executive Director/Managing Executive Officer of the South Directorate of the bank. IG was to move again in 2005 to take up appointment as Executive Director in Bank PHB. Here, he superintended various strategic business units in commercial, energy and corporate banking and acted on behalf of the CEO on various occasions. In 2010/2011, IG along with a team of professionals set up Taurus Holdings Limited and acts as the Executive Chairman.

On a scholarship from the ENI Group, IG with a first-class degree in Economics from the University of Lagos proceeded for his Master’s programme in Business Economics(Economia Aziendale) at Eni Corporate University – Scuola Mattei, Milan, Italy. IG’s enterprise has been complimented by exposure to quality executive programs in local and offshore institutions. These include but not limited to Lagos Business School, Executive Management Programme Insead and Havard Business School at various times.

Dele Uwefoh has several years of experience in banking which cuts across Consumer Banking, Corporate Banking, Branch Management, Risk Management, Investment Banking, Treasury, Mortgage Financing, Non-Banking Institutions Financing where he developed special competencies in these areas.

Prior to joining the Taurus Group, he was the Group Head, Group Supply Chain at the Nestoil Group. He was Managing Director of Glo-World a subsidiary of Globacom Limited; he was also Managing Director of Spring Mortgage Bank, a subsidiary of the defunct Enterprise Bank., before he rose to the position of the MD, he was a Deputy General Manager (DGM) at the defunct Enterprise Bank Plc, with the responsibility for managing 14 Branches as the Regional Head Ikeja Region. He was also Divisional Head, Enterprise Risk Management of the defunct Enterprise Bank. He was Assistant General Manager at Bank PHB PLC.

His banking career started in 1995 at Societe Generale Bank Limited. He was at various times Head Risk Management, Head Financial Institutions, Head Local Currency Trading, Head Foreign Currency Treasury and Head Remedial Asset Management, Head Financial Institutions in Bank PHB, with the responsibility of managing a portfolio size in excess of N80 billion. Dele’s major strengths are his analytical skills, leadership and managerial skills, particularly people-management and problem-solving.

Dele is an alumnus of IMD Lausanne Switzerland and also holds a B.Sc. Degree in Business Administration from the University of Benin, with significant leadership, client relationship, liability generation, and sales experience in various capacities.

A Certified Financial Engineer and Investment Banking executive with broad experience/skills in all aspects of Equities & Debts Origination, Structuring, Syndication and Distribution; Project Finance; Securities Trading & Treasury Management; Financial Advisory; Portfolio Management; and Private Equity Funds Management. Nnaemeka possesses diverse and direct experience/involvement in Capital Raising exercises in excess of N500billion (US$3billion) for Corporate Organizations and Governments in the local and international capital markets.

He has at different times held high profile positions in some notable financial institutions in Nigeria, which include:-Head, Capital Markets & Research, Legacy Guardian Express Bank PLC (Now Enterprise Bank Limited); Group Head, Asset & Wealth Management Group, Future View Financial Services Limited; Head, Project Finance and Private Equity Funds Management, Oceanic Bank International Plc (Now a member of the Eco Bank PLC) ; Pioneer Head, Corporate Finance & Private Equity Funds Management, Bank PHB Plc (Now Keystone Bank Limited) and Group Executive Director, Treasure Capital & Trusts Limited.

He is an alumnus of Abia State University, Nigeria; Leeds Metropolitan University,United Kingdom and Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Cambridge MA, USA.

Engineer Haruna Beli parades a rich career in the oil & gas sector with over three decades’ experience in the downstream sub-sector covering operations, engineering and marketing. He specialises in lubricants (production & marketing) and fuel terminal operations.

Prior to his career in oil & gas, Haruna worked as head of fittings and machining at the Technical College, Nassarawa. A thirty-year career in Total Nigeria PLC saw him occupy varying roles, culminating in his appointment as head of depot operations.  Under his leadership, Total terminal in Apapa attained the ‘International Small Site Safety Rating System’ (ISSSRS – level 4). This is the highest level in Total worldwide. He is a Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON)-trained auditor in Quality Management System.

Upon retirement from Total Nigeria PLC, Haruna joined AA Rano where he spent two years as General Manager in charge of Terminals – from there he joined Taurus Oil & Gas as Executive Director in charge of operations.

Engineer Haruna Yusuf Beli is a 1983 graduate of Kaduna Polytechnic with HND in Mechanical Engineering (Plants Maintenance).

He has attended courses in France, Britain and South Africa.

A former Chief Operating Officer of the Taurus Group, Nojeem retired from D-Taurus Holdings Ltd in July 2020 having joined the group as a pioneer Executive Director of Taurus Oil & Gas Ltd. later rising to the position of Group Executive Director, then Chief Operating Officer.

A UK-trained professional with expertise in policy & strategy, performance management,corporate development and public speaking,with cognate experience in housing policy & strategy, infrastructure, energy and utilities. He was appointed in 2003 as Strategic Commissioner (Supported Housing) and Commissioning Board member at the City of London Corporation. In this role, Nojeem had overall responsibility for policy formulation, strategic lead and delivery of the City of London’s multi-million Pound housing&support programme. A British citizen, he held this role for five years from where he was head-hunted back to Nigeria. Nojeem took up appointment in Nigeria in 2008 as Vice President (Executive Director) at First World Communities Group.

Nojeem has won academic and professional accolades – including the City of London award for “consistent demonstration of imagination and innovation” and for becoming the first Nigerian to attain the fellowship of the UK Chartered Institute of Housing (FCIH). In 1986, he was awarded the University of Lagos ‘University Scholar’ status and granted scholarship for becoming the first student to graduate with a First Class in Political Science in the history of the University. He completed his Master’s Degree on scholarship at the same University in 1988, before proceeding to the UK where a change in career path saw him complete a Post-graduate Diploma in Housing Policy, Management & Finance with the College of North-East London/Middlesex University. Nojeem also became a Fellow of the UK Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) in 2005.

Emma has over three decades’ post-graduation experience in the construction industry, with vast experience in the area of civil works and community relations.

He worked with Manuel Tek Services Ltd. as founder and CEO – a civil construction firm with a group of highly-experienced engineers, involved in civil construction work across the Niger Delta region, mostly Delta and Rivers States, before moving into Taurus Oil & Gas Ltd. He has built over 20 branches for banks across the nation.

He is an HND graduate in Agricultural Engineering and Farm Mechanism and oversees all construction projects, maintenance of assets and community relations for Taurus Oil & Gas.

A Graduate of the University of Calabar, Bassey has served with various major shipping and Oil & Gas companies, including P&O Nedlloyd, AP Moller Maersk, Conoil Plc, HUK Energy Limited, Stonebridge Holdings Limited – Oil & Maritime Services where he was in charge of all trading, logistics & chartering operations.

He is well vested with practical experience in oil trading and maritime operations with exceptional analytical and logistics skills. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of shipping (CIS) and has attended various management courses on HSE, Personal Development (LBS).

He is a holder of a Master’s degree in Maritime Transport and Logistics from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho (MTS). He is currently running a PhD programme in Maritime Transport in the same University.

Kenechukwu Nwosu is a strategic Human Resources Practitioner with a comprehensive understanding of Human Resources Management, Organizational development and Change management; a self – motivated individual possessing demonstrated leadership skills who has effectively championed HR Strategy development and implementation.

He started his professional career in Financial Control, Treasury and finally settled for his passion- Human Capital Management. Kene has worked with Manny Bank, Assurance Bank and Diamond Bank, in the following leadership capacities of Human Resources Management: Head Recruitment & Selection, Head, Resourcing & Man power planning/Development, Head Performance Management, Head Employee & Industrial relations, Head HR, Shared Services, Head, Talent Acquisition .

Kene is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development United Kingdom (MCIPD) as well as an Associate of the Nigeria Institute of Management (ANIM). He holds degrees in Accountancy from the Enugu State University of Science & Technology and a Master of Science degree from the Aberdeen Business School – The Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland.

Chimezie Ezenwaka is the Group Chief Financial Officer of Taurus Oil and Gas Limited with responsibility for upholding strong financial management, operational strategy and accountability while providing timely, accurate, and reliable financial information and enhancing internal control. He is Result-oriented, with strong academic background and professional experience in risk and financial management, financial markets, consumer and corporate credit management. Offering comprehensive skills, innovative solutions and a track record of consistently meeting and exceeding desired objectives.

Prior to joining Taurus Oil and Gas Limited, Chimezie was responsible for Corporate Financial Reporting, forecasting, planning and financial analysis as well as competitive analysis and bench-marking at Fidelity Bank Plc. He has extensive operational and financial experience, cost management and transaction support role at the Bank that span over half a decade of service.

Chimezie obtained a Master’s Degree in Finance from University of Lagos and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. He is also an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

Joshua Ukpaka brings on board proven industry experience that cuts across all segments of Oil & Gas, involving upstream petroleum market experience, exposure in midstream operations, and downstream Oil & Gas where he has held several functions.

He has successfully fulfilled various engineering design projects with major industrial participants including BP, Baker Hughes and Schlumberger. In 2014, Joshua begun his commercial journey with Total Nigeria (Energies) in supply and strategy development roles. He then proceeded to the shipping sector with Union Maritime, a UK based ship owner and operator. His focus was on business optimization along with effective stakeholder management, to generate revenue from shipping assets valued over $400 million.

Training with Vitol in commodity trading followed, enabling certification in Physical Oil Trading, Operations & Hedging. Having completed duties, Joshua secured a more senior role handling Oil & Gas analysis for DL Hudson, a global commodity trading house. There, he assists senior management through providing market insights and tracking crude oil and middle distillates flows across individual markets.

Joshua is an alumnus of Loughborough University, UK where he achieved a B.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering. He also holds an M.Sc. degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Aberdeen, with an emphasis on latest oil production technologies and industry digitisation.

Mercel is a highly successful and result oriented management executive,with over a decade’s experience in maritime administration,oil and gas operations, shipping and logistics.

Mercel started his career at E-Paul Energy Services Limited as a graduate trainee and later moved to Standard Superintendent where he worked as a senior petroleum officer. Mercel later joined Sopetra Energy as the coordinator – shipping and logistics and later moved to International Maritime and Shipping as manager – business development and operations. He was General Manager, Watergate Petroleum Limited between 2014 and 2015. He has equally consulted for some energy, oil and gas companies such as Lloyds Energy (2011), Crusteam Ltd (2011), Stallionaire Nigeria Ltd (2012) and Bovis Energy (2013-2014).

He holds a first degree in Maritime Transport Management and Technology from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri and Masters in Public and International Affairs (MPIA) from the University of Lagos. He is also a member of Global leadership Institute (GLI) and an affiliate member of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT).

Femi Williams is an accounting graduate with over two decades’ experience on depot management, of the downstream sector of the oil & gas industry.

He graduated from Rufus Giwa Polytechnic (formerly Ondo State Polytechnic,Owo in Ondo state). He has worked with various organizations among which are Elf Nigeria limited, African Petroleum PLC, Total Nigeria limited, T-TIME Petroleum Services and Liquid Bulk limited.

Femi has served in different and complimentary capacities, including operations, logistics and transportation, supply and distribution, marketing and depot management before joining Taurus Oil & Gas Limited. He is also an associate member of various professional bodies including Institute of Chartered Economics of Nigeria (ICEN) and Certified institute of Purchasing & Supply Administrator of Nigeria (CIPSAN). He is also a Certified Safety Personnel.
